The King and Queen were joined by Prince William and the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh at a service celebrating the Order of the Thistle at St Giles' Cathedral in Edinburgh, Scotland. The service was one of many celebrations attended by Their Majesties to mark the 900th anniversary of the city of Edinburgh.

The Amir of the State of Qatar will pay a State Visit to the UK as the guest of His Majesty The King from Tuesday 3rd December to Wednesday 4th December 2024.

NEW: Tomorrow's Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall will be attended by the King, the Prince and Princess of Wales, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, the Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, and the Duke of Kent.

The King, the Prince and Princess of Wales, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, the Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, and the Duke of Kent will attend the Remembrance Sunday service at the Cenotaph.

The Duchess of Edinburgh will attend an Armistice Service at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire on Monday, 11th November.

The Princess of Wales was among senior royals attending The Festival of Remembrance event at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Saturday night. King Charles was not accompanied by Queen Camilla however, because she is recovering from a chest infection.
