It seems there is lots of trouble in the NRF with lying and coverups of abuse and drugs......
Sad to see in the last years of the king and queen as they lost control of their family.

An interesting discussion developing elsewhere online regarding Marius, the problem stepson of the NRF. CP Haakon missed a royal engagement yesterday, an official lunch which MM did attend.
The reason became obvious at 2PM that same day when Haakon and Marius hopped on a plane to London together. Boys day out, sightseeing trip, little holiday? Apparently a Norwegian newspaper, which has been keeping a very sharp eye on the situation with the NRF, is speculating that the family has decided to pop Marius into a live-in drugs and alcohol rehab facility, and there are several such scattered around London and the Home Counties, discreet, world renowned and expensive. It would solve several problems until the trial which will presumably be in the early months of next year now.

Of course, in theory, (if this speculation is even true) Marius could walk out and fly back home, but that is unlikely if he wants any sort of a relationship with his stepfather and step grandparents in the future I would think.

Btw, Durek the shaman is landed in more controversy about his past and has supposedly lodged a libel suit against the magazine who printed an article about it, or threatened to, but that is something for another day.

A third possible rape of a young woman by Marius is under investigation apparently. At least he remains in custody at this time and is under a letter, phone call and visiting ban for family and friends. Without alcohol or drugs perhaps he will be able to reflect on what brought him to this position. News about his exploits is now in media around the world!

 What a charming individual this man (using the word in its loosest sense)has turned out to be! In the future he should not be shown in any sort official way with his step grandparents or with Haakon and MM. No photos taken for family celebrations or mourning of any kind.

Absolutely im agreed with you but Marius need seriously help and no rape girls

But Marius still deep in trouble but CP MM wouldn't comment on her son's arrest and jailed its private matters and its business matters

When this whole case FINALLY gets to court, probably some time in 2025, Marius Hoiby will almost certainly get a custodial sentence and maybe some treatment for his alcohol and substance abuse problems. Hope so, because Marius's behaviour can't be allowed to continue into his thirties. By that time CP Haakon and MM's reputations will be in the toilet do to their enabling of his behaviour and the NRF's reputation will be deeply shredded.

Article says he banned visit and investigation still going on no trial date yet but CP Merit Marit's son did apologize to his family and expect his mother for Marius's actions and his account
