The royal house has previously stated that Durek Verrett would also become part of the royal family when he married Princess Märtha Louise.

This will not be the case now – at least not officially. He does not become part of the official definition of the royal family.

That's right. Pr Sverre Magnus, Prss Astrid and Prss M-L are the only ones mentioned in the 'other royals' category. And that is simply because they have the styling of His/Her Highness (Not HRH) and Prince/Princess. Durek the Shaman, Marius etc are more or less being officially shunted off. No titles, no stylings, nothing really.

And as far as Marius is concerned he is going to have to face trial as an individual with little standing (though his family will still support him no doubt) and any attempt by Durek to attach himself and his beliefs to the RF is without backing.

Prss M-L (who has commercial properties to flog) remains a bit of a problem simply because she is married to a felon (US charges) and charlatan who can't keep his mouth shut and is still the King's daughter though she has no official standing any more. We will see how it works out. Odd to think that Martha-Louise would now be the heir to the Norwegian throne if today's promigenture laws prevailed.

I think this was a wise move. The NRF needs to officially distance itself from the troublemakers. I would also think they need to cut the purse strings with Marius as well. If it is shown that they are funding Marius' lifestyle, I don't think it reflects well.

Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit attended as well
