Where do you think, hope, wish, they'll go to honeymoon?

William proposed in Kenya, where the Queen and Prince Phillip honeymooned, not in the exact location but in the same country. Perhaps they will honeymoon in Malta, where HM lived for a few years, just to get to know the place where his grandma and grandpa stayed.

Apparently and according to the press the Middleton's will be paying for the (not yet known destination, which the couple and their close ones probably have it already established) honeymoon.

William and Kate show a tendency to go to the same places at the same time of year every year.

I doubt the will venture much from that. They do not seem to want to explore other places.

I see no reason why they would go to Malta

By the way last week I heard a rumour that Richard Branson has offered them Necker Island for free.

I heard that rumor around December and I do remember posting it in one of the early engagement who will pay what threads. The Branson family (invited to the wedding) gift* is a honeymoon all inclusive package (virgin atlantic flights, resort, beverages, food, etc.) to Necker Island.

*Gift, William and Kate will be accepting gifts only from close friends and family, the rest of the guests shall be donating to the charity of the couples choice.

Mousekins is right they more than likely will go to either
Necker Island
Mustique
Kenya

or if they plan to combine it with a tour of one of the commonwealths
New Zealand
Australia

I think the above two are doubtful because they can't guarantee the privacy that places like Mustique can unless they go to somewhere like cook island... IDK

Didn't Charles and Diana honeymooned in Scotland; then aboard Britannia and stuff?

I guess it would be the same with William and Kate... promoting the country and all.

Then they could have a small, quick, private honeymoon, somewhere else of their choice.

I, myself, would expect them not to go to the Caribbean, to the slopes, or to Africa... it's all pretty much the same for them already.

They should go somewhere they haven't gone before... so it could give them a really unique meaning to it, imo.

I think almost every RF couple has spent at least part of their honeymoon somewhere in & around Britain, usually Scotland as they obviously have the ease of having Balmoral for their own private use etc. I certainly think some of the honeymoon may be spent in Scotland as not only do the Royal Family have history with it & almost all of them seem to love Blamoral but also of course William & Kate have that link to Scotland with their relationship starting in Scotland at Uni.

Anyway so other than some time in Scotland at some point I suspect the usual places of some Caribbean Island and/or somewhere in Africa to be the most likely places.

I heard about Necker Island too.
I remember rumours - I think 2/3 years ago - William &/or Kate want buy a residence in Mustique.
In my opnion, is more likely their honeymoon be in Mustique or MAYBE Necker Island.

Well, maybe since they are trying to scale things back and make this wedding seem more laid back, they might follow the example of previous royal couples and stay at Broadlands on their wedding night and then maybe go to Scotland and stay at Balmoral?

I doubt Kate has been "everywhere" - there have been no reports of her and William ever traveling to the United States together, to Australia, Asia, the South Pacific, Canada, etc - there are plenty of honeymoon options left for them. Even though they have been on numerous vacations together, and some of them to very exclusive places, that doesn't mean they have been 'everywhere' together and they have run out of options! The world is a very large place!!

I hear you guys have big economic problems in the UK as we do here in the USA.
Like I said , they cannot have it both ways: all of the riches in life forever, and then do as they want as any ordinary couple would.
They should honeymoon , no press , in Wales. Or Scotland.
There is a fine line here. Kate and William have been on many honeymoon vacations already in Swiss, Carribean, Africa, Spain, etc. Theirs lives as for traveling will be one honeymoon forever anyway. They have been living together for a while.
Tact,class, protocol, ehhh,it should be a really short few days , in the UK , and doing some charity work if they are going before the press.

Australia's out of the question. They'd get no privacy here, from the busybodies. Any beach here in Aus has many tourists and they'd have to share.

They can come to Canada. I'll lend them my parents cottage at the lake for week or two. It's pretty secluded. You can only get to it by boat. They would have to make a donation to my favourite charity though.
