A great royal reporter James was the first to identify Diana as Charles new girlfriend. May he RIP.

It is so sad when someone passes who you seem to know through their work over the years. I always agreed that the public (especially the British taxpayers) have a right to know more about the Royal Family than what the PR machine puts out. He was very good at what he did.  :thanks: for the memories James.

I remember that as if it were yesterday.

I know he was a bit of a snob, but I did love his commentaries.  I for one feel his death marks an end of an era.  Don't know why.....just do.  I for one shall miss him.

An end for royal reports who gave commentary that was at least credible. Not like today's reporters who just may up anything to sell papers  <_<

May he RIP.  He was a snob, even his colleagues stated it so.  His reporting's and opinions are like any of the old and new school, non are perfect.

  WOW you've hit the nail on the head.  I continue to be exasperated by other reporters especially Katie Nicholls.  Although I do like Richard Palmer very much.  You get the feeling he really tries.

I never knew until I read the article on which this topic is based that Diana's sister was the source behind the story of Diana's bulimia.
