It's fascinating to look back at those early days with the benefit of hindsight. What seemed like a fairy-tale engagement at the time would later prove to be far more complicated.
The engagement remains one of the most memorable royal moments of the twentieth century. Looking back now, some of those early interviews take on a very different meaning.
Hindsight certainly changes how many of us view those engagement interviews and photographs today.
