I'm the worst biggest Diana fan, but I don't compare her to Kate. She would have been Kate's mother in law, and she had such a jealous streak I wonder if she would have allowed William to be close to anyone else.
A large difference is, as has been said, Diana hardly knew Charles nor he her. He didn't know he was getting a fragile young girl who needed a lot of attention. She said, I think, they met 13 times before the wedding. I know my postman better than that.
Whatever Kate's weaknesses are, William knows them by now and seems to love and understand her. He looks at her with such love. I think he married someone like his mother, very sweet, loving, and motherly. Diana said that she told him when you find someone you love you must guard it, take care and protect it. He is doing that in the face of much criticism from some.

IMO the France ep shows her spectacular level of stupidity, particularly, too soon after the Harry at LV ep. If an famous person is in a place open to outside must have COMMON SENSE not get naked in this place because there's big probability this person will BE photograped.

In her royal duties I even now see nothing that put her above of someone else without degree (read:I dont see she tell anything intelligent or at least shows interested, IMO that's an thing that Charles & Diana had in common they were always interested in their work and that always showed)

Well, she made of her whole adult life only be available for an Prince, that at times was no gentleman with her and
allowed her mother pushed her to always fogive the Prince. Who broke-up with her at times because he wanted see others girls, when he do NOT find anyone he was back to her and she accept & always with the support of Mummy.

I agree with those with opinion that during the engagement she seemed want turn into anorexic and in all probability have some issue with food. IMO since the engagement is clear she have an fixation/obsession in get so thin as possible.
IMO Kate is many things less an strong & independent person.
