A vicious nightclub brawl resulted in Monaco’s Prince Pierre Casiraghi needing hospital treatment, it has emerged.

The brawl broke out at the trendy Double Seven nightclub in the Meatpacking district of Manhattan on Saturday.

It is believed the fight started following a late-night confrontation between the 24-year-old prince - who is the son of Princess Caroline and grandson of Grace Kelly - and his friends and former Manhattan club owner Adam Hock.

It sounds like Adam Hock was the jealous one but regardless the person who throws the first punch is the guilty party and they arrested the right man.   :nod: After he threw the punches everyone else had a right to defend themselves. I hope the Prince is not injured to badly and recovers quickly.  :)

I think everyone involved behaved poorly.  Did Pierre know this guy before he went up to his table and started insulting his friends and drinking his liquor? Even if he did, it was in poor taste.  But then this guy shouldn't have thrown a punch.  It's much more effective to cut somebody down using your words than your fists.  He should have treated Pierre the way you do with a spoiled child, which is you clearly show that their antics will not get them what they want.

This does not sound good! It seems like a rarity when good press regardling the Royal Family of Monaco appears  :(
I wonder what the repercussions (if any) will come from this brawl?

We can only hope he has learned but somehow I don't think this is over yet. This branch of the Grimaldi lineage has a lot of rough edges. Pierre's dad got into punch ups too.
