During his first deployment Prince Harry was taken care by Gurkha soldiers, the worst paid, he is of notoriety too, hence the MOD decided to make out of him a public relations marketing tool in form of a documentary video doing the walking round, showing his bunker, firing the machine gun, etc.

I think the documentary is great way to showcase what the United Kingdom has through a VIP.  Much more people will watch a documentary with Harry rather than Joe.

...I feel that his Military Progress, accomplishments, locations of training and time frame of duties should be top secret information.  Why publish it all over the internet and Newspapers?...Keeping that aspect of his life would help himself and all serving with him......Just my opinion.... ......

the war in afghanistan is wrong and none of our soldiers should be there, never mind harry. it's all a pointless waste of money and cost of lives to soldiers and innocent civilians. nothing about it has helped afghanistan rebuild itself and it's just an endless foray of propoganda and spin built up by the biased right wing western media to the brainwashed public sphere.

What is the patch above the Blues & Royals patch in the 10th picture from Hello! Magazine?

Go the second page of photos and scroll down to the seventh row and fourth picture. There is another picture that is a closeup of his shoulder just the patch I was asking about.

Wars are always controversial, dealing with sensitive and emotionally charged issues. I can see the agruments on both sides of the possibility of Prince Harry's deployment, but I think the 'elephant-in-the-room' is more the war in Afghanistan than the role Prince Harry plays. I do wish the media would stop releasing information around his deployment though. Troops are deployed all around the world everyday, and I hope the media respects the added secrecy required for the safety of not just Prince Harry, but his fellow Troops as well.

If Harry is supposedly in danger why is the press logging in every move of Harry's and saying when he'll serve?

They carefully write that a source in the MOD said, I think some reports even gave the Commander's name in the MOD said...

The media adds in an 'educated guess' in reference to his 4 month deployment; next month he will be Diamond Jubilee travelling in behalf of the Queen, June he will be celebrating with the Queen, July/August he is an Ambassador to the Olympics, hence it leaves the 4 months from September onward to Afghanistan.

:goodpost:...................My prayer would be no war with peace on earth.  Being that said there have been ongoing wars for thousands of years...........Sadly for our future it just seems conflict will carry on and on and on..................
