Prince Harry will fly to Norway on Monday to join four badly injured Afghan war veterans who are attempting to walk to the North Pole.The team left Gatwick for Oslo yesterday on the first stage of their journey to the top of the world. They aim to raise £2 million for the Walking With The Wounded charity.

Prince Harry has joined several wounded soldiers at Longyearbyen in Norway for a 200 mile walk to the north pole. The walk is being done to raise money for the Walking With The Wounded Charity.Prince Harry is patron of the charity and will take part in the event, and is expected to return back to the United Kingdom on 5 April 2011 to continue with his Apache Helicopter pilot with the Army Air Corps.
And even for someone who is third in line to the throne, there are some experiences that can only be summed up with a bit of barrack room humour.The Prince, 26, had clearly experienced a certain shrinking feeling as he joked afterwards: "It's quite tight on the balls!"
You would have thought that Prince Harry would have other things on his mind as he prepared for his gruelling Arctic trek to the North Pole with a group of wounded servicemen.But getting used to sub-zero temperatures hasn't stopped him from thinking about his big brother's wedding at the end of next month.The 26-year-old said today that his late mother would have been 'very, very proud' that Prince William was getting married.Harry touchingly added that he was looking forward to welcoming Kate Middleton into the family, and that she would become the sister he never had.He said: 'A younger brother or younger sister would have been nicer, but to have a big sister is obviously very, very nice.'I've got to know Kate pretty well, but now that she's becoming part of the family, I'm really looking forward to getting her under my wing - or she'll be taking me under her wing probably.She's a fantastic girl. She really is.'My brother's very lucky, and she's very lucky to have my brother.
