Earl Grosvenor

Britain's Most Eligible Gentlemen: June 2012  She has him in earlier, but this is an update with a pic.  Interestingly he never went to boarding school -- very odd for an aristocrat.

Thanx miss  :blowkiss: :blowkiss:
I think hes so cute..very young obviouslly...
but yet hes so cute. And definatelly there must be a line of girls dropping at his feet...i dont think hes that handsome but i really like the grosvenor for the reasons that they are so rich and with titles and everyhting but yet they keep theyre lifes as private as they can.proving by all the one qwho enjoy giving excuses to some about veryhting..that IT IS POSSIBLE!!!! To be on the limelight and yet be reserved and have a normal life
For that reason we sadlly dont know much about them..with exception from tamara who is here and there eventually coz of her husband whos  a van cutsem and is constantlly linked with the royals..,with such exception we dont get much of them.
And yeah its very rare that he didnt went to a borading school being who he is...and with such finantial background...i think the duke raised his kids to be normal and be treated as normal...and most of all treat others well and like similars independent on theyre positions...that seems very nice anyway....
Some pics of the duke and the duchess...but theyre kids very rare. Its amazing how they all look like the duchess not at all like the duke...at least shes a very pretty lady...and very fit for her age me thinks...how old is she...i believe more than 50 but looks very young anyway...the only one ive never saw is viola...

I remember about this party someone said there were some pics in isopix...but for some reason i cant see isopix site anymore...if the pic are still avaliable and someone could kidnlly post them it would be very nice
Does anyone knows what hes studying in newcastle???
I think eugenie is studying there as welll...or am i mistaken???
Dont remember anyway....his sister has also went to this same uni...maybe a familly tradition???

Nice to have a thread about him. I've been quite interested in Hugh lately (no second intentions, of course ) I just get a good vibe from him.
He looks very young for 21. i mean, that's basically my age and me and my friends don't look that young, i think :girlblush:

About the pics from his birthday party, I was the one who found them and posted them on another thread. Some people complained at the time the links were not working and I suggested them to go to isopix and search for earl grosvenor. I thought the problem was that the links were temporary and  my suggestion would solve the problem. Sorry, I didn't understand you have a problem with isopix website. so now I uploaded them. There are not many of them, In fact, no pic of hugh. Here they are:

Thanx a lot for the pics  :D :blowkiss: :happy20:
I also think he looks very young...like hes 16 or something i dont know...he does has a very littel boy face....
His sister are beauiful..now that i saw viola i can finally say that they all look like theyre mom
Viola is basically exactlly like her sister edwina me thinks....theyre almost like twisn...in the end they all have the same face...but tamara has a red hair...so does her brother...and her son if im not mistaken....

I saw some pics of the duke and the duchess and he used to be handsome...but obviouslly with age changed..she remained very pretty...anyway...
What i like about them is how low profile they are...being who they are is amzing me thinks...
I dont know much about the titles and how they work...but i think westminster is an impotant one isnt???At least it sounds like

I think any Ducal title is probably important because there's not that many of them.   :teehee:

Still, it's comparatively recent compared to the Duke of Northumberland, for example, which has been around for ages.

(However, the Grosvenor estate does own half of London, along with large chunks of Paris and property in Spain).

I asked coz to me there seems to be so many dukes around...duke of this and that and here and there and ladida
There are so many titles that we get lost sometimes..and is hard to tel the importance they have i mean hirarchically speaking....i know that probablly the duke of edimburgh might be the most important one...followed by charles...wills...his uncles...cornwall...cambridge ...york...wessex...kent..glou cesteshire???
I dont know...and so on and on....Or am i mistaken???Probablly
I really dont know...or theres no hierachy when it comes to it???
I mean the queen and the rest dukes all with the same powers only diferent by theyre weathies...i really dont know...
|I know that the grosvenor became important coz of theyre money not necessarilly coz of theyre historic as u mentioned....
And there wasnt a law that allowe womens to have the title???It seems that when it comes to dukes theres always the men who takes the tile...never the women..independent on whos born first...
U only become a duchess by marriage???Thats it?
It makes sense but still is weird...and very sexist ( is that the word???Opposite to feminist??)

There's the Order of Precedence;  it can be found here.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_dukes_in_the_peerages_of_the_British_Isles#Order_of_precedence

I seem to remember that the first Duke of Marlborough's daughter was a duchess in her own right, but I think that's a rare exception.
