Today, Their Royal Highnesses The Earl and Countess of Wessex will join celebrations to mark the 33er year of independence from the United Kingdom. St. Lucia's Royal Police Force will take part in a parade, with other events also taking place.

It is a shame that they aren't receiving the coverage they so deserve but we knew that would have happened. The only tours that will likely get the majority of press will be Charles and Camilla, William and Catherine and Harry. People are only interested in the Wales'. What is worse is the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, and even the Duke of Kent, will get completely overlooked.

She probably did at some point. Sophie is all for "up close and personal" with the kids on engagements. She evidently loves children.

There is the real Middle Class girl.
She upgraded the BRF. She never had any scandals or did outlandish, foolish things.
Sophie RJ has performed very well in her role and is a great representative for her country and QEII.

I agree that the RF have a treasure in Sophie. I doubt we'd ever see Anne getting down and embracing two young children. (I will happily be proven wrong though, if someone has pictures etc.) The image of her hugging the two boys is my favourite image of their tour so far I think. It's so lovely and so heart warming; Sophie adores children.

Yes Sophie is good with kids like the Wales brothers and Kate. I think Edward is fond of them too but more reserved like his mother. Anyone know what besides "Paris " is printed on Sophie's dress? I really like it!
