Alexia and Snokitty your missing the point I am trying to make.

Thank you Cinrit, you've hit the nail on the head once again.  The younger set are inclined to draw the media's attention far more than the older ones and that in turn draws attention to the causes of whom the older set support.

A good example here is Princess Anne who is viewed as the hardest working member of the RF and yet how much press coverage does she receive?

As for W&K, neither will as yet take on full time royal duties because William is a serving officer in the armed forces and Kate will not be allowed to overshadow her husband.

I did not miss your point I just disagree with it. How would the world know the Princess Royal is such a hard working member of the family if not for the press attention that she receives? How does the world know of all the visits the Queen makes to commonwealth countries or riding to Sandringham like everyone else or to events around the UK if not for the press. So far what the press says about the young royals seems to run along the lines of look what they are wearing or what nightclub they are falling out of. I think the older royals have a higher profile.  :D

The world of royal watching very likely, but factually the world media aren't reporting not even halfway on any of the royals compared to W&C.

We were speaking of profiles not media attention on one's clothing. Also the title is "On Her Majesty's Service". To me that would mean duties not how many times the press takes your picture.

It still brings attention to the duty that is being performed.

I beg to differ.

How would the world know the Princess Royal is such a hard working member of the family if not for the press attention that she receives? How does the world know of all the visits the Queen makes to commonwealth countries or riding to Sandringham like everyone else or to events around the UK if not for the press.

How much press attention does Princess Anne get in any one month?  We know how hard she works via the court circular and because once a year the press publish how many engagements each individual member of the RF carried out, but NOT because Anne or other members of the RF received the kind of press attention they should do.

As for what members of the RF wear, the press use to write that about The Queen when she was also young.  There's nothing wrong with that because people a genuinely interested.  You only have to surf around to see how many blogs there are dedicated to what young royals wear.

If you think the older royals have a higher profile than the younger ones then perhaps you can you fill me in on the upcoming engagements of Anne, Edward, Sophie, The Queen and Phillip?  People in general aren't interested.  You only have to look at the forums across the internet to see which threads create the most traffic.  Take a look at this forum.  Where do you do most of your posting?

The world of royal watching very likely, but factually the world media aren't reporting not even halfway on any of the royals compared to W&C.

Thank you Wannable, I'm grateful that someone got the point I was trying to make.

How many times the press take your picture matters when performing royal duties because the press attention highlights the causes.
