Of course not  :teehee: But it does take both a male and a female to produce a child.  :laugh10:

As far as I know, there is no medical test that can guarantee if a woman is capable of having children (or not).  All the doctor can do is say that she has all the right equipment and that the equipment is in working order.  If there were a test that could tell one way or the other, it wouldn't be so difficult to find out why any woman who can't conceive, can't.  As for test on men, unless the man has a zero sperm count, there's no guarantee there, either.

Very true. I was just wondering why they think a female should be vetted but not a male, kind of medieval.  :happy17:

^^ I'll agree with that.  Even with non-Royals, if a couple has trouble conceiving, the woman is always tested first, unless she's had children previously.

I don't think William would "have" to give up the Throne if he can't have children (not that it is the  case) but Harry's would  be next in line when William dies...

Human nature.  Baby watch is fun.  And this hypothetical child will most likely the next monarch behind Williams.  Hence, the interest.

Very true. I was just wondering why they think a female should be vetted but not a male, kind of medieval.  :happy17:

If true, because Kate married into the family.  William is already in the line of succession.  If he is the one with reproductive issues nothing can be changed.

^ History has proven no one can tell who will be King sometimes being heir doesn't mean you will be King (just ask Prince Charles) we don't even know if Prince William will be King to say a child that doesn't even exist will be King/Queen is overreaching in my opinion.

No we don't know what the future holds, but if W & K have a baby,  the probability of that child being in the line of succession is high.

Cindy

Not in The Netherlands, in my country if a couple has trouble conceiving, both man and woman (partners or married) will be tested simultaneously, which is fair IMO.

I am surprised though that she is not yet pregnant. With her scheming nature (IMO of course) she would benefit enormously if she got pregnant. However, they might have planned a pregnancy but whatever age, nature sometimes has its own plans.

I don't think they will get pregnant until after their tour this fall.  She wouldn't want to be sick on such a trip and you can never tell how you will be. I can remember seeing picture of Diana when she was ill.
