I enjoy how he raises his eyebrows to emphasize his words the way his mom did. All the faces he makes make me smile too. :happy15:

Maybe but both have lived in diferent times...so i see them diferentlly...but perhaps ure correct hale!
The queen has always ben very discreet but also has alwaus showed an incredible plager and devotion..passion ut her position and everyhting that came with it...u can say by looking at her that she was born to do it!!!!

Just like kate shows a very huge aceeptance about her new role...she seems very fake yeah..maybe coz theres not a perfect way to act..and maybe coz shes afraid to fail and ends up acting exactlly like shes been told to.... but yet shes only starting and we can see that shes about to do anyhting to be what she ahs to be...u can see that she seems (true or not...fake or real) enjoying all this...on the public eye and as well as in her personal life...she always did enjoyed all related to it...aparentlly...
While wills always showed his aparent dislike for everyhting related to his position...
People say is coz of what happened to his mom...who knows...
BUt i think is about time he starts a new way of life honestlly...and stop pretending he can control his life and media..coz he sure cant!!!!!
Thats "one" of the things that in my view makes him looks bad and arrogant at extreme....
My view anway...

Beckham isn't the only person who knows Will who has given him such high praise. Everywhere he goes people are impressed with his sincerity and openness. You can't fool the public. They know when you genuinely care. I like the relaxed element to Will and Kate's joint appearances. They are so cute in their joking back and forth, just like couples we all know in our own lives. I think they are the unbeatable team that Charles and Diana could have been.

I disagree u think u can fool the public..yeah u can!!!!
But i dont think thats williams case anyway...i just think is an individual opinion about him...some love him and some dont..simple as that...just because beckham...pele or maradoma said nice things about him it donest mean a thing..at least to me...

I wouldnt take in consideration beckhamsn opinions anyway...i mean seriouslly what would he say???I hate william hes a terrible person seriouslly...obviouslly no...and obviouslly william is an artist when it comes to pretending being nice and polite...thats what im saying...to "some" people he seems fake...
Ive seen interviews of him and in MY VIEW he seems fake..like he pretends his smiles and laughs..everyhting..is like he hates being there and have to deal wiht such situations and people...but obviouslly he was very well educated and being who he is he would never treat anyone bad..seriousllu...thats maybe why many people would say nice things about him...what else would they say...

I think honestlly it depends on who sees it and how its seen..simple as that..
To me personally i think as ive mentioned they always look better when thetre alone...not toguether so i would never think they are a great team...hes fake..shes fake..is too mcuh fake in my view..no spontaneity at all...

BUt im not saying ure wrong..anyway..im just saying that i dont think the same way... :blowkiss:
I guess we all think diferent and its all valid...when it comes to personal likes and deslikes...

I agree fake and it is a double fake when they are together. A perfect couple brings out the best in each other. Watching Kate these couple of weeks I think they are better apart. They become very paranoid when they are together. Maybe that is what kept them together all these years she knew he did not trust the press or anyone else really and she used it to get him to need her and her family because William does seem to need her family. It is sad really.

Anybody can fool the public , remember the'' fairytale'' that was called Charles&Diana and ofcourse people are going to gush , because they don't want any negative headlines or being attacked by the press for saying something about the golden boy.

TO me William don't seems to have the charm or aura for him to have it he need to take control of his life, right now he does what people tell him to, same goes  for his wife. That to me is not aura of a king he need to take charge and control of his future and show the people of England that he is MAN enough instead of people running to voting republic and ending monarch.  He is almost 30 he need to act like a man not try to be one for this is my observation about William so far take or denied it i call it as i see it!!!

True enough that for a very short time some thought that Diana and Charles had a fairytale marriage, but that was soon laid to rest. People didn't believe it long at all. A fairytale wedding but not a fairytale marriage. Two very different things. People so frequently on the world stage can't keep a farce going very long. Will has total control of his life, chose Eton where no close heir had gone before, chose St. Andrew's where no prince had gone before, chose the RAF SAR as career, no other prince ever has. He married his university sweetheart, no prince has ever done that before either. He chose to lay down in the street on cardboard to draw attention to the homeless and it definitely did. He went to Chili in a gap year on a charitable mission which was completely original for a prince. No one tells Will how to live his life. Just because he couldn't stop himself being born into the succession shows no lack of control. None of us can choose the family we are born into and that's a fact.  :windsor1:

No one can fake (put on a mask) indefinitely.  He has shown whilst doing his duty to be the crowd pleaser single and married.  He (and the BRF) has shown time and time again to the media, he won't bend in invading privacy.  A term with no fixed boundaries to-date within the U.K. itself, but he is determined to keep it that way, hence those who want to see more of this privacy think he's faking it.

Yes Wannable.  :happy15: I think the royal we know the least about is the queen. She has boundless privacy. Compared to her, we know volumes about the Wilster.  :P

What we know about the Queen is that she has never shirked her duties even at a very young age. We know she has devoted her life to representing Great Britain and the Monarchy around the world and still does even at her age. The Queen has allowed cameras in to allow the people to see what she does. Actually I know a lot more about the Queen than any of the other Royals.

I agree snokitty about the fake thing because a lot of celebrities - even Diana - have said it's not the private face they see in public.
Many a time she and Charles had an argument but she in all her glory didn't show it - well in the beginning of the marriage when she was often miserable.

She did allow the documentary, but from all reports, she has regretted it.

Quote
The Queen has given permission for an intimate film clip of her and her family to be shown for the first time in decades, as part of an exhibition to celebrate her Diamond Jubilee.

The excerpt, in which she regales her husband and Prince Charles with an anecdote about Queen Victoria, is from the groundbreaking TV programme, Royal Family, which was the first time they let documentary cameras in to their lives.

The film was watched in 1969 by two-thirds of the British population, but has been seen little since, prompting speculation the Royal Family did not want repeats shown because it made them look too ordinary.

^^ Yes, she did.  I thought you were talking about private moments.  Without knowing what goes on behind someone's closed doors, we can know only their public face, which doesn't necessarily define them.

I don't want to go into other people's bedrooms. I thought it rather childish of William to complain about the picture of him and Kate walking the puppy on the beach. It is not as if the picture was showing them running naked. William needs to understand that he is a very public person and when he is in public anywhere his picture will be taken. I think all his whining about privacy while enjoying all the benefits of being Royalty is over the top and getting very old. He is not the little boy who was at school anymore he is nearly 30. If he is so afraid of getting his picture taken he can turn the job over to Prince Harry and turn into a Hermit somewhere but he likes the perks to much to do that. He wants all the rights but none of the responsibilities. Quite spoiled and arrogant since the hard working British taxpayers are footing the bill for all those perks.

^^ Oh, heavens!  I didn't say anything about going into anyone's bedroom. :eyes: :D  I meant until you've seen someone at home and relaxed, you know nothing about them.

If it were okay to take a picture of William and Kate (and dog) on the beach, it would not have had to be taken with long-range telephoto lens.  No one, no matter who they are, has an obligation to share every moment of their lives with the public.  Everybody, no matter who they are, is entitled to privacy.

William and Kate are not willing to show any moments of their lives with the people but they sure do enjoy the perks.  :hehe:

My stance is this:  If Harry were the older son, David Beckham would have said the same thing about him.  It's because William is the future King that "we" see him as one.  (And by "We" I do not mean "me" since I don't see this aura that DB is talking about)

"I agree with Lothwen."  Trust me, you will say this more than once.

Not a single member of the British monarchical family is willing to share any private moments from their life and that is fact. Will understands how the media operates better than other members of his family and was the first to give a public interview when he came of age. He has given more interviews than the rest of his family and his engagement interview was longer and more comprehensive than those that proceeded. His Grandmother has never in her long live given an interview and has no plans to do so. Will is more forthcoming with the press which gives him good reason to lose patience with them when they take advantage.  :flower: I don't know Lothwen. I don't believe Beckham would see that aura in another member of the family. William isn't yet king and Charles is much closer to gaining the throne. Beckham has been around Charles over the years. He has his OBE. I think you have to see Will in person to see the aura as Beckham has.

I think it depends on personal views...thats all.
I see willim as the most arrogant and fake..pretentious member of the RF.
He has no naturality at al..in my view...thats why i would never go to see him...and who says think hes amazing.
BUt thats my view...
I agree that beckham is polite...he would have said this about anyone....in my view he was trying to gain points with prince willima..aka...future king!

Not to mention that charles dont have such a good populatiry and i dont think he would say something about him in case he could also e misuderstood.Obviouslly everyone would say amazing things about wills and kate...but that dont mean its true and sincere...neither that everyone agrees with it....
