Princess Maxima is Coolest Princess in Europe

Her Royal Highness Princess Maxima of The Netherlands has been voted as the 'coolest Princess in Europe' - her charming personality, great sense of fun and adventure and her brilliant sense of humour, all these together with her regal style make her Royal Insight's choice for coolest Princess in Europe.

The Princess was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in May 1971.

Princess Maxima, a former investment banker – she graduated from the Universidad Catolica Argentina in 1995 with a degree in Economics. She then went on to work for large international financial companies in Argentina, the United States and several European countries.

As a Princess of the Netherlands, she supports her husband in his public duties, but she herself carries out royal engagements – often pursuing engagements to highlight the integration of immigrants into Dutch society.
