On Wednesday 2 February, Crown Princess Victoria began her visit to Jokkmokk, a municipality in Norrbotten County in northern Sweden. She began her visit at the Jokkmokk Winter Conference, an annual international forum for university students, young decision makers and opinion builders from North America, Northern Europe and Russia.
Crown Princess Victoria introduced a panel debate at the conference, saying "Jokkmokk Winter Conference has a strong focus to raise awareness on climate change, energy and sustainable development in a regional context."
A Swedish magazine has reported that reality TV star, and girlfriend of Prince Carl Philip, Sofia Hellqvist has recently moved into Carl's apartment in Stockholm. Rumors that the couple are living together hit the tabloids when Carl Philip was spotted shopping for furniture at IKEA. The Prince and Sofia began dating in January of 2010, not quite a full year after his breakup with long-time girlfriend Emma Pernauld.
