The Royal Court of Sweden has announced that Their Royal Highnesses the Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden are expecting their first child.
Her Royal Highness is expected to continue with her public engagements well into the very last days of her pregnancy. The Princess is expected to give birth sometime in March 2012.
Once born, the child will be second in the line of succession to the Swedish throne.
The Press Office at the Swedish Royal Court has released a report which formally rejects the allegations of links between the late Walter Sommerlath to the Nazi Regime.
Walter Sommerlath was the father of Her Majesty Queen Silvia – he died in 1990.
