Spain celebrates National Day

Today, Spain celebrated their National Day with a traditional military parade which ran from the Plaza del Emperador Carlos V and the Plaza de Colón and involved more than 3,000 troops, 147 vehicles and 55 fighter jets of the Armed Forces. This parade was followed by a reception at the Royal Palace, where this awkward family photo was taken.

Letizia visits Handisport

Princess Letizia of AsturiasThis week, Princess Letizia stopped by Handisport, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to helping the handicapped integrate socially through sports.

Handisport is located on the island of Mallorca, a popular tourist destination for many in Europe.

Letizia's visit included a working meeting on the practice of adapted sport, and was intended to promote tourism in the Balearic Islands.

British Coat of ArmsWith upwards of 40 foreign royals descending on London this weekend for the Royal Wedding, lets take a look at who will be here, and where they will be staying. Keep in mind that Queen Elizabeth's cousin, Lady Elizabeth Anson is hosting a pre-wedding dinner at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Hyde Park for the British and foreign royals and some selected weddings guests. While many royals have been spotted entering that hotel, we cannot be sure if they are arriving for the dinner, or will be staying there as well.

Prince Felipe visits Israel

Prince FelipeThe Prince Felipe, the Prince of Asturias is in Israel on an official visit to the country to commemorate the 25 anniversary of diplomatic relations between the State of Israel and the Kingdom of Spain.

His Royal Highness visited Israeli President Shimon Peres, the Prince was accompanied by Crown Princess Letizia, Princess of Asturias.
