Their Royal Highness the Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary this week. Celebrations were welcomed across Norway as a sign of fresh air after the recent gruesome attacks that killed 77 people in Norway.
At the celebrations, close relatives and friends joined the royal couple for dinner – also attending the celebrations were Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden – who in turn also have something especial to celebrate as their recently announced that they are expecting their first child.

Took place on 25 August 2001 at Oslo Cathedral and was attended by many dignitaries accredited to the Norwegian Royal Court, including most of Europe’s reigning and non-reigning royal families.
