Her Royal Highness Princess Maxima of the Netherlands has visited Rotterdam, where the Princess has carried out several engagements in relation to the Buurtlab Foundation.
The Princess reviewed several key aspects of the work carried out by the foundation, she was accompanied by children who helped the Princess review the work which has helped many disadvantage members of society.
May 17th marks the 40th birthday of Princess Máxima of the Netherlands. In celebration of her birthday Dutch television network, NOS, aired a documentary titled "Máxima: Portrait of a Princess", and photographer Erwin Olaf was commissioned by AD Magazine to photograph the princess.

Her Majesty the Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands has celebrated Queen’s Day or Koninginnedag, the Queen was accompanied by most members of the Dutch Royal Family.
Celebrations included Horse Racing and Volleyball matches.
